The January 10th meeting will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Garden State in '88 NRHS Convention, hosted by Tri-State. As we saw in the Summer 2018 Block Line, the 1988 Convention featured numerous events and tours, bit steam in the form of Nickel Plate Road 765 and big diesels as the trio of Morristown & Erie Alcos as these classics wheeled excursion riders over some of the area's most scenic routings. Long-time member Mitch Dakelman will bring some of the video to bring this Convention to life. And we'll see many of the members and volunteers who helped pull it off. Tri-Staters should feel free to bring items from the Convention to display if they choose.
